For a long time, I thought my struggle was consistency.
I believed that if I could just become more disciplined, more productive, and more focused, everything would fall into place.
But the deeper I went, the more I realized consistency was never the real issue.
Identity was.
The problem wasn’t that I didn’t know what to do.
The problem was that my actions were not fully aligned with who I knew myself to be.
There was a gap between my inner knowing and my daily choices.
A gap between who I was becoming and who I continued to act like.
What I was searching for wasn’t another productivity system.
It was alignment.
Because consistency is not just about repeating actions.
It’s about repeatedly choosing to honor who you are.
And when your actions begin to reflect your values, your purpose, and your authentic self, consistency stops feeling like a battle.
It becomes a byproduct of alignment.
Perhaps the journey of becoming isn’t about fixing ourselves.
Perhaps it’s about remembering ourselves.
And then having the courage to live accordingly.
Which has led to my next blog about alignmet.
